Y3 Science - Dirt Puddings

Class: Y3 Year: 2026 - 2027

Today, Year 3 made dirt puddings to help them to learn and remember the different layers of the soil and Earth.  

Red sauce = the mantle, inner core and outer core. 

Biscuit = the Earth's crust 

Apple pieces = bedrock 

Chocolate mousse = subsoil 

Crushed oreos = topsoil
