We are a class of 29 - 6 to 7 years old.
Our teachers are Mrs Vaughan (Tuesday to Friday) and Miss Burns every Monday. Tracy and Mrs Robinson-Barron will also help us with our learning in Year 2.
In Year 2, our PE lessons are on a Wednesday and Friday - we must wear our school PE Kits on these days (a white t-shirt, red shorts or black joggers / leggings, a school jumper or cardigan and black pumps or trainers).
We will be learning lots in Year 2 - such as What good came out of The Great Fire of London? What is our school made out of? Does how we treat the world matter? How can a computer help me to present information? What makes a good friend?
Every Thursday, the children are taught to play the recorder and we hope to host a Recorder Assembly in the Summer term for parents to admire their musical talents.
Throughout the year we will add photos to this page to showcase our learning.
In Year 2 we will bring home a new reading book each week. Reading books and homework books are sent home on a FRIDAY and should be returned by the following THURSDAY please. In their homework books, the children receive a Maths task and spellings to practice each week. We have a spelling test each Friday.
