School Admissions

The school admission procedure is administered by St Helens Local Authority.

Nursery Applications - available throughout the year – (If we have spaces.)  We take morning and/or afternoon Nursery children with 15 or 30 hours free.

Full Nursery Wrap Around available!

We can offer ‘Educare’ places in the afternoons for those who wish to top up their child’s time in the Nursery.

Early childhood education takes place in our Nursery, from 8.45am until 11.45am and 12.15pm till 3.15pm. If we have places available after the September intake, we can take children in the spring term (January) and summer term (April) this being in the term following the child’s third birthday.

Application forms for Nursery are available from the school office or from St Helens Admissions Department. Parents may contact the school at any time to arrange a visit or to request further information.

Local Authority Nursery Intake - September 2023 Admission

The online system to apply for a Nursery place for children eligible to start from September 2023, is available via If your child will turn 3 between 1 September 2022 and 31 August 2023, he or she can start a maintained nursery in September 2023.

Primary Applications

Local Authority Primary Applications for September 2023 – You can apply online. Closing date for applications is 19th January 2023. Visits are warmly welcomed to see our school in action for prospective parents. Just contact Mrs O'Brien in the office on 01744 678350 to book a visit, all welcome!

Local Authority Secondary Applications for September 2023 – You will receive letters from St Helens Council when it is time that you can apply online. Limited copies of the booklets will be available from our school office for those parents who do not have access to a computer. Applications will need to be completed and returned by 31st October 2022.

The school does not allocate places; all places are allocated by the LA against the admission criteria.
