Online Safety Ambassadors
Welcome to this year's Online Safety Ambassadors
Our Online Safety Ambassadors are a group of children who work throughout the school to make sure that the children (and adults) know how to stay safe online.
Their main responsbility is the planning of and running of our Online Safety Week/Days throughout the year. We also have a suggestion and worry box where children can let us know if there is something bothering them when they go online.
Throughout the year, the ambassadors will be leading assemblies, teaching lessons and making videos to help the children (and parents) of Lyme. This year's group of amabassadors really want to focus on being kind online (particularly in group chats) and feel they want to promote what is acceptable behaviour in this forum.
The Ambassadors did an amazing job at delivering a Safer Internet Day assembly - which also included some role play - definitely some budding actors in our midst.
Coming up for our Online Safety Team will be conducting 'Group Chat Workshops' for our older children and a Parent Workshop. We are very excited and will keep you updated.
Recently, the Online Safety Team have produced a leaflet for parents to help them to keep their children safe online. We strongly recommend that parents closely monitor their children's online use. Please read our leaflet for more information.
