Miss Mee
Welcome to Year 1!
We are a class of 29 - 5 to 6 year olds.
Our Teacher is Miss Mee and our Teaching Assistants are Tracy Shard and Mrs Necula.
We participate in PE sessions on a Tuesday and a Friday.
Reading books will be sent home on a Friday and should be returned the following Thursday. Please ensure book bags come back to school!
Children will be sent home with a shared reader book matched to their phonics ability and a reading book for pleasure to enjoy at home.
We engage in OPAL during lunchtimes. This allows us to to have the freedom of play whilst developing out physical, social, and emotional development. Please ensure we have a spare pair of shoes and a coat.
Throughout the year we will be learning lots of new things such as... 'What materials would an alien need to build a spaceship?', 'How can we look after each other and the world?' and how to make 3D sculptures.
