Y6 PGL 2024

Date: 28th May 2024 @ 9:23am

Year 6 have had a brilliant time at PGL this weekend! We started on Friday evening with a very competitive game of Laser Tag which saw the blue team win. On Saturday the groups took part in the zip wire and then problem activities in the morning - this relied on great team work. After lunch, the two groups came back together for a canoeing session with some getting wetter than others! They finished the day with camp fire songs and toasted marshmelloew. Both groups managed to take part in the giant swing and rifle shooting before the weather turned and a storm was above us for an hour or so in the afternoon. This did not stop us taking part in the high ropes and a very muddy survivor task - buidling a sheltar and making a fire. After tea, we took part in some indoor team games before bed. Before we came home on Monday, the two groups did some abseiling and completed a challenge course. The weekend saw many of the children challenging themselves to do activities they had never done before - we are very proud of them all!
