Vive La France

Date: 4th Nov 2016 @ 4:51pm

As a start to our Learning Challenge 'Where do you want to live in the world? ' Year 2 have enjoyed the day experiencing all things french.

First of all we completed our boarding passes and made our way to Lyme International Airport.  The inflight entertainment was 'Ratatouille' and it took us approximately an hour to travel to Paris.  During the day we visited some of the places in France and learned about life in France so we could write postcards home.

After lunch we visited La Patisserie where we tasted a range of french pastries and breads.  Our favourite was Brioche au Chocolat - it was yummy.  We were going to try snails and frogs legs but unfortunately they escaped when Tracy left the lid off the pan!

Finally we did some counting in french so that we could play bingo and win some french chocolate as a prize.

A great day was had by everyone.

Look at the photos below to see some of us in La Patisserie.
